I truly support this movement to tech kids what I think one of the most important skills to have for the future. More importantly, computer programming needs to be introduced much earlier than at college level for most.

Every field today, if it hasn’t been transformed by software, it will be! I have seen it in Biology with Bioinformatics, manifacturing with robots, even education has been transformed completely with video streaming, web and mobile applications. It would be ashamed to have the world becoming more automated and computerized and yet too few of us actually know how to read and write the code that runs them.
